On January 28, Shandong Heavy Industry Group (SDHi) and Haier Group signed a strategic cooperation agreement in Qingdao. Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of SDHi, and Zhou Yunjie, Party Secretary of Haier Group, Chairman of the Board and CEO, held discussions and witnessed the signing ceremony. Ye Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of SDHi, and Zhao Yanfeng, Vice President of Haier Group, General Manager of Government and Enterprise Affairs, and General Manager of Haier Smart Home China Region, signed the agreement on behalf of the two parties.
According to the agreement, both parties will leverage their respective strengths in the real economy and deepen strategic collaboration in areas including logistics and supply chain, smart zero-carbon industrial parks, the industrial internet, intelligent vehicle cockpits, and power and energy solutions. The cooperation will promote joint innovation across the entire industrial chain and multiple application scenarios, accelerate the development of world-class enterprises, and jointly lead industry transformation and upgrading.
Wang Zhijian introduced SDHi’s recent development progress, noting that the Group is advancing strategic transformation toward green development, globalization, digital intelligence, and ecosystem integration while strengthening its seven core business segments. He expressed expectations for broader and deeper collaboration with Haier across multiple fields, leveraging technological innovation and scenario-based solutions to drive industrial upgrading, enhance global competitiveness, and further advance Shandong’s high-end equipment manufacturing toward world-class standards.
Zhou Yunjie stated that as two leading enterprises based in Shandong Province, Haier and SDHi possess highly complementary industrial ecosystems. Enhanced collaboration can enable resource sharing, ecosystem synergy, higher operational efficiency, and new growth opportunities. He noted that this strategic partnership not only represents cooperation between two enterprises, but also a proactive step toward advancing the transformation and upgrading of Shandong’s high-end manufacturing industry and building a modern industrial system.
During the visit, the SDHi delegation also toured Haier’s Central Air Conditioning Lighthouse Factory and Eco-Experience Center.
