On January 15, Shandong Heavy Industry Group(SDHi) convened its 2026 Annual Work Conference in Weifang. The meeting reviewed the Group’s 2025 business performance, analyzed internal and external market conditions, and systematically outlined the development strategy for the 15th Five-Year Plan period as well as key priorities for 2026. During the conference, outstanding organizations, pioneer teams, and corporate culture role models for 2025 were commended. The Group also officially launched its seventh business segment — Power & Energy, signed 2026 business performance responsibility agreements, and presented awards for excellence. Wang Zhijian, Party Secretary and Chairman of SDHi, delivered a keynote speech titled “New Starting Point, New Journey, New Leap — Advancing Toward the Vision of Building a World-Class Enterprise.” Ye Jianjun, Deputy Party Secretary and Director of SDHi, presided over the meeting.

In 2025, SDHi seized structural growth opportunities in the industry and expanding export markets while effectively responding to intensified domestic and international competition. The Group delivered solid high-quality development results. Annual operating revenue reached RMB 604.5 billion, representing a year-on-year increase of 9.9%. Operating quality and efficiency continued to improve, market competitiveness strengthened significantly, export business expanded comprehensively, overseas industrial development progressed steadily with improved quality, and strategic transformation gained strong momentum.

Looking ahead to 2030, Wang Zhijian emphasized that the Group will pursue its mission of “Tech Empowered Future Equipped,” accelerating strategic transformation toward green development, globalization, digital intelligence, and ecosystem integration. The goal is to build a technology-leading, green-development, world-class multinational high-end equipment group. Future success will be measured against four world-class benchmarks:

♦ Achieving world-class strategic governance capability
Wang Zhijian stressed that 2026 will be a critical year for opening a new phase of high-quality development, with efforts focused on:
♦ Strengthen core capabilities and deepen market cultivation to achieve higher volume growth and market positioning in the domestic market
♦ Enhance localization and upgrade brand competitiveness to ensure stronger export growth momentum
♦ Promote strategic alignment and collaborative empowerment to improve the quality and efficiency of overseas operations
♦ Maintain a customer-centric approach and benchmark against world-class standards to accelerate technological innovation and industry leadership.
♦ Advance green and intelligent transformation while enhancing value creation across the entire value chain to build strategic growth drivers for transformation
♦ Pursue lean excellence and unlock value potential to improve asset and
♦ Balance empowerment with effective governance and drive reform-led innovation to build intelligent and efficient management and control systems
♦ Strengthen talent development and corporate culture to foster a dynamic ecosystem for entrepreneurship and innovation
Wang Zhijian called for the never settle, always lead and forever dominate spirit, emphasizing the development of four types of high-performing teams:

♦ Transformation-oriented teams embracing innovation and self-reform
♦ Entrepreneurial teams marked by initiative, courage, and proactive execution
♦ Role-model teams upholding integrity, diligence, and professional excellence

The conference recognized enterprises receiving Excellence in Performance Awards, Outstanding Contribution Awards, New Energy Transformation Awards, and Digital Transformation Awards, pioneer teams in technological innovation, market expansion, and collaborative value creation, individual corporate culture role models including Innovation Stars, Quality Stars, Intelligent Manufacturing Stars, Value Creation Stars, Marketing Stars, and Service Stars.

The conference officially announced SDHi’s seventh business segment — Power & Energy, marking the Group’s full-scale entry into global data center power generation equipment, solid oxide fuel cell technologies, and related sectors to cultivate new strategic growth drivers.

Wang Zhijian signed 2026 business performance responsibility agreements with affiliated enterprises. Leaders from Weichai Group, SINOTRUK, Shantui, Weichai Lovol Intelligent Agricultural Technology, Zhongtong Bus, and KION Group delivered commitment statements.

Following the conference, participants visited SDHi’s new product technology exhibition.
More than 700 participants attended the event, including: leadership teams and mid-level managers from SDHi headquarters and major subsidiaries, management representatives from overseas operations, overseas stationed representatives as well as model employees from various business units across the Group.
